MEETING OF TIMARU ASSOCIATION A decision to write to the Railway Club asking for an explanation of an allegation that the controlling body had done something depriving the club of its rights to the Duncan Shield last year was made at a meeting of delegates to the Timaru Miniature Rifle Association, over which Mr W. W. Best presided. A letter was received from the Defence Club asking what the association intended to do about the club's challenge issued six weeks ago. It was decided to accept the challenge for a match on Saturday week on the Timaru range, 20 men a side
