SOCIAL REFORM AND CHRISTIANITY

TO THE EDITOB OF THE PEESS Sir,—The letter by "R.A.N." will appeal to many no doubt, and to those who can see no other way it is good advice to follow. The law of love is the way of truth and power, and as we express it by living the life shown by the Master, with goodwill for . all and returning good for evil, the Christ spirit in each of us grows and develops gradually leavening the whole community in which we live. We must forgive, if we wish to be forgiven, and the law of reaping what we sow can be very terrible at times; but God is very merciful, and has provided for all His children, lowever wayward they may be. None is lost eternally.—Yours, etc., „„„_„ E. M. LOVELL-SMITH. May 31, 1937. i
