SEA LION KILLED BY CAR
♦ (MIESB ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, May 31. "Sammy," the sea lion which had long frequented Peninsula roads and beaches, and often had been a "gatecrasher" at seaside residences, was killed on Saturday evening through being struck by a motor-car. "Sammy" was almost as popular as "Joey," who died after being placed in the Wellington Zoo
