SWIMMING CLUB'S DANCE

TROPHIES PRESENTED" Last night, members of the Phillipstown Amateur Swimming Club held thdr anhiial dance at Dixieland, and interest was added to the evenings programme by the .presentation of trophies won during the season. The guests spent a pleasant time dancing .to-the music of the New Collegians Dance Band. The dance was arranged by Messrs L. R. Allan, G. Dykes, D. Crockett, L. Grafton, and R. E. Clark. Mr w. g. Yates, president of the club, and Mrs YateS were the guests of honour. Trophies were presented by the president as follows:—Old girls' cup, 100 yards championship, Miss J. Nicollet 75 yards breast stroke.handicaps, Sullivan Cup. Miss J. Nicolle; Phillipstown Cup, 75 yards, ladies mnamp, MisS G. Nicolle; Yritfes CUp. 100 yards, men'B championship, L. R. Allan; Allan Cup, handicap dive, L. Grafton; Restar. Cup, 220 yards handicap, R. 1. Clark; Aspell Cup, 50 yards back-stroke handicap, L. fl. Allah; Melrose CUp, 440 yards handicap, R. tl. Clark; relay shield. Miss J. Nicolle, arid L. R. Allan, and G.
