N.Z. NATIONAL PARTY
MEETINGS AT SUMNER AND AKAROA A well-attended meeting of friends and supporters of the New Zealand National Party was held at Sumner last evening. The scheme of organisation of the new party was explained by the secretary, Mr J. A. Poulton. A strong committee was elected, of which Mr G. S. McKenzie was elected chairman and Mr Bailey secretary. On Tuesday a meeting was held m Akaroa, where a committee was formed. ,
