The Simla correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says: "Punitive expeditions, by skilful operations in the Khaisora Valley, Waziristan, are disheartening the tribesmen, who have been constantly drawn into the attack on grounds favouring the Indian troops. The latter have worsted their opponents in every encounter, inflicting mqre than 100 casualties."
