ADDISON'S FLAT The Addison's Flat return for the fortnight ended April 28 is 470z for 36 shifts. MATAKI JUNCTION The Mataki Junction return for the week ended April 29 was 570z 17dwt 17gr for 122 hours and 26,000 yards dredged. For the four weeks ended April 22, gold ounces recovered amounted to '220, of a value of £1650. Hours worked were 302, and yardage 58,000. Working costs were £1033. MATAKI RETURN (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEQBAM.) AUCKLAND, May 3. The following is the Mataki return for April:—A total yardage of 31,068 was treated for a return of 89 ounces 10 pennyweights 20 grains. WAITAHU DUNEDIN, May 3. The Waitahu Gold Mining Company reports the completion of work in No. 12 paddock, the final washup amounting to 72 ounces lOdwt for 24 shifts of eight hours each. The total gold won from this paddock was 218 ounces 9dwt. PRICE OF SILVER LONDON, May J. Silver is quoted at 20Id per fine ounce spot, and 20 7-l6d forward. SALE OF FARM The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd., Christchurch, report the sale of Kaituna Hill farm, owned by Mr C. R. Craythorne, to Mr Cecil Depas, who is taking over the stock on the pro* perty, and Mr and Mrs Depas are taking up residence in the Valley. —4
