TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—On two occasions during the last few months your contributor Listener 'has suggested that readings of snort stones by W. W. Jacobs and! others should be given over the air. j This is a very good idea and I should! «--!°.£ no X, if y° u can tell your readers if the Director of Broadcasting is going ta adopt it. To the blind or a 5?- "5L lth fai , hn g or weak sight such readings would be a boon. 3YL is off the air for a great part of the day ?£2L~ shoul & be an easy matter to arrange a suitable time. There was an article in your paper some weeks a list of the 20 best novels of the last 30 years. These could also be read, the readings, being spread over a period.
