"It's A Very Good Hobby," Says Amy
One day Amy Ashburton decided to learn something about paper-designing. Her mother, who lives in Ashburton, brought out some scissors, and some sheets of paper, coloured and plain. "Of course, you can use any kind of paper, from a newspaper upwards," said Amy's mother, "but the coloured paper is pretty and makes a change." Paper-designing, you know, ,is quite an old arU Perhaps you've seen some man, at an entertainment, tear, a newsPaper into wonderful shapes. If you use your imagination, and study a little, you, too, can make wonderful, paper designs. To-day, we'll learn how to make paper strips, and later, doilies and other shapes.
