IMPRISONMENT FOR CONVERTING CAR
(PUSS ASSOCIATION TBLXOSAII.) WELLINGTON, April 21. A sentence of three months' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Leonard Cyril Ferguson, ship's fireman, aged 32, for the conversion of a car. Mr E. D. Mosley, SJVL, said that he was satisfied with the identification of tllG fICCUS6d Evidence showed that the car was involved in a collision in which both it and another were damaged; but the accused disappeared from the scene after the driver of the other car had told him to remain while he went to a, telephone.
