PROTECTION AGAINST “SHARE-PUSHERS”
• ' “* WARNING CIRCULARS TO BE ISSUED £5,000,000 LOST ANNUALLY IN BRITAIN (Received April 20,. 9.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. The Government is circulating millions of leaflets warning the country against the activities of “sharepushers.” It is estiiriated that ; l at least £5,000,000 is lost each year by gullible people. A committee under the chairmanship of Sir Archibald Bodkin, a retired Director of Public Prosecutions, is reviewing the methods employed in frauds, and will recommend additional* safeguards.
