INQUIRY BY COMMITTEE OF IMPERIAL DEFENCE • (Received April 20, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. The' Government is appointing a sub-committee of the Committee for Imperial Defence to consider the possibilities of extracting oil from coal in case of national emergency.
