CARD FOR SEASON APPROVED Hunts for the 1937 season were approved as follows at a meeting of the South Canterbury Hunt Club’s committee yesterday:—April 3. The Kennels; April 10. Saltwater Creek; April 15 Rosewill; April 22, Sutton road; May 1. Waitawa; May 5. Arowhenua; May 8, Waimate P. 0.: May 12, Pleasant Point; May 15. Waimate; May 19. Waimate; May 21. Levels railway: May 26. Waimate; May 29, Whalebones; June 2. Waimate; June 5 Beaconsfleld: June 9, Waimate; June 12, Levels Store; June 16. Baker’s corner: June 19. point-to-point; June 23, Porters road; June 26, Waimate point-to-point; July 3. Old Kennels; July 10. Pleasant Point Domain; July 14, Rosebrook; July 21. Southburn; July 24, race meeting; July 28. Glen-iti: August 4. Brophys corner. A committee to arrange the programme for the point-to-point and the race meetings was appointed as follows: —Messrs C. L. Orbell. H. S. Elworthy. R. J. Murphy, A. G. Macdonald. and H. H. Elworthy. It was decided to apply to the New Zealand Racing Conference for July 30 as the date for the 1938 race meeting. ■
