FALSE PRETENCES
GUILTY ON SEVEN CHARGE CPMSS ASSOCIATION TSLXOBAIt.) WELLINGTON, April 2. A plea of guilty to seven charges ol obtaining sums of money totalling fi 5s 6d was entered in the Magistrate! Court to-day by David Scrogie, aged 44, an advertising agent. The police stated that Jhe offences were committed at Hawera last August Scrogie is at present serving a yeart sentence for two subsequent offences involving false pretences. Scrogie was convicted and discharged on all the charges. ■
