Miss Clare Ward was hostess at an enjoyable afternoon party. Tea was served in the dining-room, the table being decorateu with roses. Miss Ward wore a jade green crepe frock. Those present were Mrs G. M. Spence, Mrs G. Ward, Mrs G. Mitchell, Misses M. Weld, E. Thompson, P. Goultef, and M. Churchward. Mrs W. Trolove.is visiting Nelson. Mrs J H. Wadworth • (Brancott) and Mrs L. H. Clouston (Dashwood) will spend the Easter holidays with Mrs Hamilton Redwood (Ohoka). Mrs D. Chdckley is visiting Wellington. Mrs P. Wilkinson has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs C. Neville (Greymouth) is staying with Miss A. Neville, "Thurston." Mrs P. J. Fogarty is visiting Wellington. . ~. ,*, , Mrs D. G. Ward is visiting Wellington. ■ • . ' . A Miss P. Goulter is visiting Christchurch. , ,„ . Mrs C. O. T. Rutherford (Craiglochart) has returned from a visit to Canterbury. _ Mr and Mrs S. T. Critchley (Tyntesfield), Misses Margaret Churchward, Patricia Gilmer and Wilmot Horton (Wellington), Messrs R. Caro (Hawke's Bay), D. Pharazyn (Wellington), P. Goulter, and A. Davies will spend the Easter holidays at Davies Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound. |
