Britain now holds the -women's world figure skating championship for the first time in 30 years, because of the victory of Miss Cecilia Colledge (2528.9 points). Miss Megan Taylor (Britain), with 2488.1 points, was second. [The women's world figure skating championship was formerly held by the famous Norwegian skater, Miss Sonja Henie. Miss Colledge last year won the English figure skating championship.]
