LINDBERGH FORCED TO LAND BY SANDSTORM
. * FLIGHT FROM CAIRO TO BAGDAD CAIRO,. February 17, On their flight from Cairo to Bagdad, Colonel and Mrs Charles A. Lindbergh made a forced landing at Rutbah Wells because of a sandstorm. An earlier message said that Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh left Cairo for Bagdad, but that they had not yet arrived there. A violent sandstorm was raging in the desert. Colonel Lindbergh was warned of this before he started.
