HIGHER PAY FOR TALLY CLERKS
* (Received February 12, 10.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 12. Judge Beeby, in the Federal Arbi> tration Court, increased the wages of tally clerks employed by shipping companies from £3 19s to £4 8s a week; the wages of casuals were increased from 2s 6Jd to 2s 9d an hour. The award will operate for three years from February 23.
