WOMAN DROWNED IN VICTORIA LAKE

INQUEST OPENED AND ADJOURNED

An inquest into the death of Florence Wills, a single woman, aged 43 years, who was found drowned in Victoria Lalje, Hagley Park, on Wednesday evening, was opened yesterday before Mr E. C. Levvey, corpner. Evidence of identification was given by Mrs Gwendoline Hamilton, who stated that the woman had been employed by her as a domestic servant, .and had recently seemed somewhat depressed. - The inquest was then adjourned.
