MURDER OF SOVIET ECONOMIST

VISITS BY MYSTERIOUS RUSSIANS

PARIS, January 26,

A post-mortem examination discloses that M. Navachin, the murdered Soviet economist, was not shot, but was stabbed with a stilettolike dagger. Several mysterious Russians in the last fortnight visited M. Navachin's apartments and one succeeded in gaining an interview. It is recalled that M. Navachin was an important witness some years ago at an enquiry into the counterfeiting of Soviet notes.
