Lord Dawson of Penn, the King’s physician, in a broadcast on behalf of the King George memorial fund, revealed that the ebbing of King George’s strength became pronounced early in October, 1935. His Work then became a great effort, but his interest and concern for his people showed no slackening. King George’s strength had been declining for two years.
