The Centaurus, one of the new Empire flying boats, carrying the first passengers and mail ever transported by flying boat directly from Britain on an Empire air route, departed from Southampton on the first stage to Alexandria, and has arrived at Marseilles. She carries a ton of mail and eight passengers, including Lady Somers, who is joining her husband in Australia.
