Arrangements have been made, in response to , the request of the Opposition, to devote the second half of the sitting to the discussion of the international situation. There is a general desire in the House that ,the Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden), should have an opportunity to make a statement before he leaves for Geneva on Wednesday. Mr Eden’s statement will deal with the outstanding aspects of foreign affairs, and particularly the position regarding the Spanish civil war.
