AMERICANS AND AUSTRALIANS AT MONICA PARK
The big programme at Monica Park Speedway to-night should provide an abundance of thrills. Heading the list of attractions is Putt Mossman, the world's champion trick motor-cyclist, who has just returned frpm successful tours in England and the United States. Mossman, assisted by Dessie Grant and the popular clown, Pee Wee Cullum, will present, new and spectacular stunts. Of special interest will be special. challenge matches, and. in addition, the best riders of Mossman s team of American broadsiders— Curly Mossman, Howard Tolley, Pee Wee Cullum. Ray Grant, and Jim McLeod —will meet the'local champions, who will be captained by the popular Jack Hobson (who gave an indication of his prowess at the last meeting here) m a series of 12 match races. Hobson will be supported in these contests with Mossman's men by the pick of the local boys, and this should assure some spectacular racing. Also appearing for Christchurch will be the popular Australian riders, Billy Melhuish and Ray Duggan. Every match in this big programme will be an A grade contest. Free parking is again offered patrons, and the prices of admission are tax free.
