HIRAM HUNTER
OPERATING ON TRUMAN DIRECT
An empty room is belter than a bad tenant. Free Holmes thinks "Truman Direct" may have some bots in his bingy so Hiram Hunter is giving this valuable stallion an "Evictus" capsule. The horse seems to know that an eviction is in progress and takes it like a Jamb. Practically every, horse trainer in the South Island swears by this new discovery "Evictus" for evicting bots and worms from horses, certainly all the most successful trainers. Mr Roy B. Berry was one of the first to use it and he said it was the safest, surest, and best treatment he had ever used. Farmers, too, are using it extensively. Mr J. A. Fairweather, Amberley, gave a small capsule to a yearling colt last Sunday morning and before 3 p.m. on Monday he had passed over 50 hots and a large number of worms. Mr Fairweather says:—"l thank you for calling and putting this cure my way. It has proved itself to be all that you said it was and I am sure it will be worth a lot in the rearing of young horses." Every horse's stomach is an incubator for bots and every horse owner should have enough respect both for himself and his horse to induce him to act speedily. Hundreds of horses are killed annually by these wretched parasites. Mr Fairweather lost a valuable colt last autumn and when he was examined the whole of his internal passages were blocked by bets.
