CLERGYMEN AND PSYCHOLOGY
TO TUB XSITOB OT VMM FXXSB Sir, —I think the time has come when clergymen should be versed in psychology to meet the needs of their people. This would enable them to understand better the problems that confront people, because psychology, or science of the mind, would reveal how different happen ngs affect the human mind. An understanding, sympathetic attitude, coupled with a faith in God, is wonderfully helpful in restoring the human being to a healthy condition of mind. In fact, schoolmasters and parents would also find it helpful in understanding the child mind.—Yours, etc., FLORA A. SMITH. Darfield, January. 11, 1937.
