A PRACTICAL STAFF
VARIETY OP DUTIES In discussing the report of the director (Professor E. R. Hudson) at yesterday's meeting of the Board of Governors of Lincoln College. Dr. F. W. Hilgendorf expressed appreciation of the form of the report, which, it may be added, covered the work of the month and other matters in a very comprehensive manner. Dr. Hilgendorf said the form of the report was quite new, and he would like to compliment the director on its completeness. A paragraph in the report stated that the tractor had been employed on the fallows. He would like to ask who drove the tractor. Professor Hudson said that Mr Calder and himself were the only two on the place with drivers' tickets, and one or other of them was about when the machine had to be driven. In this case he had driven it. Dr. Hilgendorf added that this showed the new spirit that had entered the place. It was very welcome, as it brought the director into close touch with his work. Other members endorsed the complimentary observations of the speaker.
