ealan New Zealand People It has always been a Ford motto that "a manu- [j facturer depends for his prosperity upon serving the people." New Zealand's own Ford factory has been established because it enables a better service to be given to the people of this Dominion. ' Ford Cars and Commercial Vehicles are now being built in New Zealand for New Zealanders by a New Zealand Company employing New Zealand labour and using New Zealand materials to the greatest possible extent. In the short period during which the New Zealand Ford factory has been in operation, the faith of the principals in the high standard of New Zealand workmanship has been abundantly justified. The fact that New Zealand has been able to supply the whole of the skilled labour required in this up-to-the-minute factory is an outstanding tribute to the workers of this country. Once the cars and trucks are completed, they are quickly distributed from one end of New Zealand to the other through the closely-linked chain of Ford Dealers, employing many hundreds more New Zealanders. In addition to the Ford employees, many people not directly connected with the Ford organisation share in the money expended on Ford products. For example, the workers in the transport services, handling the shipment of Ford vehicles, take part of that money home. Thus the benefits of the New Zealand Ford industry are distributed throughout every community in the Dominion. In buying traditional Ford Value the New Zealand purchaser has always helped Empire Industry, inasmuch as Ford Cars and Trucks have come only from Canada and England. Now, the buyer of a Ford Car or Truck helps New Zealand as well as Empire Industry to the greatest extent possible, with resultant benefit to himself.
