Deficit of Million Pounds " INCREASED EXPENDITURE ON' ARMAMENTS (CfclTfeD PttSsS ASSOCIATIOiN—CIOPXHIGHT.) , (Received January 10, 9.30 p.m.) ROME, January 9. The Italian budget shows a deficit of £34,000,000 because of the expenditure on armaments and Abyssinia. Army expenditure is approximately £25,000,000, compared with £23,000,000 la'si year; the navy £18,000,000, compared with £16,000,000; and the air force £ 13,000,000, compared with £9,000,000.
