♦- "SOME SHOW" AT ST. JAMES* The "house full" sign was displayed in front of St. James' Theatre last urday night, when. Stanley McKay's "Gaieties" Company appeared for the fifth time in "Some Show," a sparkling revue which gives unlimited scope to the comedians, singers, dancers, . and acrobats. Joe Laurence has quickly became a great favourite, with Christchurch playgoers. Elton Black, with his Scottish impersonations, and Stella. Lamond scored heavily with their offerings, and music lovers were catered for by the solo violinist. Elvy Ferguson, and the Hilo Duo, Hawaiian entertainers. "Some Show" can be staged for a few more nights only, as arrange--ments have been made for the second production, the opening date of which will be announced in "The Press."
