The former is a brother-in-law of the GovernorGeneral, Lord Galway. Mr J. A. Redpath returned from Wellington yesterday morning. , The Rew Bertram Oxenbridge, Taumarunui, arrived from the North Island by the Rangatira yesterday. ' Dr. K. Kveton, Consul-General for Czechoslovakia in Australia and New Zealand, will arrive in the Dominion on Monday. He will spend some weeks in New Zealand, including one week in Wellington. Mr A. S. McDonald, of Sydney, chief engineer of Amalgamated Wireless (A'asia), Ltd., was an arrival at Wellington by the Awatea on Monday. Pie is on the first stage of a world tour. Mr McDonald is to visit the new 2YA station at Titahi Bay, and after a short stay in the Dominion, he will leave for America, England, and probably the Continent to investigate, among other things, the latest developments in television. Mr G. Askew, Puriri street, Riccarton, is at present spending a holiday with Mr R. O. Bowman, Rangiora. Mr D. D. Rodger, Cranford street, has left by car for Blenheim for an extended holiday. Dr. E. Teichelmann, Hokitika, arrived from 'Wellington yesterday morning by the steamer express.
