MORTGAGORS AND LESSEES
ADMINISTRATION OF ACT (PEBSS ASSOCIATIOK TKLKORAM.) TE AROHA, December 29. The Minister for Justice (the Hon. 11. G. R. Mason) visited Te Aroha today and received a deputation from the Chamber of Commerce, which had forwarded suggestions about the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act. The principal suggestion was that local committees be formed which would be more conversant with applications, while a saving in the cost to individual applicants would result under the heading of evidence. The Minister said that the suggestions would be fully considered. Applications would come before two farmers, one solicitor, and one accountant, and this would apply to the Auckland disirict, where applications were already so numerous that a subdivision may be necessitated.
