XJOTICE is hereby given that the Malvern Electric Power Board proposes, at its meeting to be held on the nineteenth day of January, 1937, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £SOOO for the purposes of extensions to the electric works and meeting in part the pole replacement expenses. It is proposed to strike a rate of thirty-one thousandths (31-1000) of a penny in the pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Malvern Electric Power district, as security for the loan, but it is anticipated that the revenue from the additional works will adequately provide for the interest and sinking fund charges on the loan without recourse to the rate. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Malvern Electric Power Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
