STANLEY MCKAY'S "GAIETIES"

♦ Stanley McKay's popular "Gaieties" Vaudeville and Revue Company, after an absence of. a year in Australia, is to return to Christehurch for a short season, which will open at St. James' Theatre on Wednesday next, January 6. Since last here the personnel of the company has had many changes, the- preseni show being practically a new one. Heading the large cast of principals is Joe Lawman, a big favourite in Australia, who is bringing with him an extensive repertoire of clever sketches, funny gags, and the very latest in comic songs. His principal assistants in the fun-making are Elton Black, Scottish comedian, and George Corelli, character actor, also Stella Lamond, talented soubrette. who starred throughout New Zealand with the "Sunbeams."
