DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE

COItONEK'S VERDICT AT INQUEST A verdict of death from heart failure associated with myocarditis following on thrombosis of the coronary artery was returned by the coroner, Mr F. F. Reid, yesterday in an inquest into the death of Edward James Austin, aged 45, of 75 Deans avenue, who was found dead in bed on November 2. The verdict was in accordance with the medical evidence of Dr. A. B. Pearson, pathologist at the Christchurch Public Hospital, who conducted a post-mortem examination.
