CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS FRIDAY, 18th DECEMBER, CHRISTCHURCH-GREYMOUTH: The train (Goods with car) will run earlier, leaving from passenger platform, Christchurch, at 6.5 p.m. The 8.33 p.m. Grtymouth-Christchurch train <Goods with car) will run earlier, leaving Greymouth 7.35 p.m.. arriving Christchurch 6.25 a.m. (19th). Passenger tram for Christchurch leaves Greymouth 10.35 p.m., arrives Christchurch 5.20 a.m. (19th). SUNDAY, 20th DECEMBER. CHRISTCHURCH-TIMARU: Usual Sunday trains between Christchurch and Timaru will NOT run. Trains leave Christchurch for Timaru 7.30 a.m., 9.20 a.m., and 5.52 p.m.. and Timaru for Christchurch at 7.55 a.m., 4.45 p.m., and 5.55 p.m. TUESDAY, 22nd DECEMBER. CHRISTCHURCH-TIMARU: The 7.35 a.m. Timaru-Ashburton and 4.31 p.m. Ashburton-Timaru trains will NOT run. The 7.0 a.m. Timaru-Christchurch and 5.42 p.m. Christchurch-Timaru (.Wednesday) trains WILL run. CHRISTCHURCH-LITTLE RIVER: The 9.5 a.m. Little River-Christ-church and 3.50 p.m. ChristchurchLittle River trains will NOT run. The 8.30 a.m. Little River-Christchurch and 4.15 p.m. Christchurch-Little River (Wednesday) trains WILL run. GREYMOUTH - CHRISTCHURCH: Passenger train for Christchurch leaves Greymouth 10.35 p.m., arrives Christchurch 5.20 a.m. (23rd). WEDNESDAY, 23rd DECEMBER. GREYMOUTH - CHRISTCHURCH: Passenger train for Christchurch leaves Greymouth 10.35 p.m. and arrives Christchurch 5.20 a.m. (24th). THURSDAY, 24th DECEMBER. NORTH LINE: Usual 4.37 p.m. Christchurch-Waikari train will NOT run between Rangiora and Waikari. Usual 2.38 p.m. Waiau-Christ-church train will leave Rangiora 6.5 p.m. and run to Christchurch as on Fridays. Train leaves Culverden 7.5 a.m., Hawarden 7.39 a.m., connecting at Waikari with morning train to Christchurch. Train for Culverden will leave Christchurch 5.17 p!m. CHRISTCHURCH-PARNASSUS: 7.55 a.m. Christchurch-Parnassus and 2.32 p.m. Parnassus-Christchurch trains.
