WHOLESALE DRUG MERCHANTS' EMPLOYEES

An order providing a 40-hour and and five-day week for Christchurtk wholesale drug merchants' employees has been made by the Arbitration. Court. The court has also provided that wages shall not be reduced by reason of this reduction of hours. These provisions constitute an amendment to the Christchurch (five miles radius) Wholesale Drug Merchants' Employees' award and come into foita as from Tuesday of this week.
