CONFIDENCE IN MR C. A. WILKINSON

EGMONT ELECTORS PASS RESOLUTION

(FR.ISS A.3SOCIA.TIOI! TELEGRAM.) ELTHAM. December 15. A well-attended meeting at Opunake yesterday of Mr C. A. Wilkinson's supporters from all over the Egmont electorate adopted unanimously the following resolution: "That this meeting, representative of the districts within the Egmont electorate, expresses its continued confidence in Mr C. A. Wilkinson as its parliamentary representative. It realises that Mr Wilkinson, in joining the National party, was actuated by a wish to see a party of progress formed, and is prepared to support him in any further steps that he considers necessary if the National party does not prove to be advanced and progressive, and representative of modern thought particularly. The meeting asks Mr Wilkinson to continue to offer his services as representative of the Egmont electorate in Parliament."
