HEALTH CAMPS

SUNLIGHT LEAGUE'S 1 * ANNOUNCEMENT

CANCELLATION FOR JAJiBAHf

On behalf of the Sunlight Leagut Captain Anderson made the follow! ing announcement concerning health camps last evening:— "Owing to the outbreak of infantile paralysis in Otago, and the pos. sibility of its spreading to Canterbury, it has been found necessary to cancel all Sunlight League health camps for January. The league, in coming to this decision, has acted on the advice of the Health Department. "The league very much regrets the decision, and the disappointment that it will cause to some 300 children in and near Christchurch. It is felt that it would be better to cause this disappointment now than to run the risk of having even one child in, fected, and possibly maimed fig life."
