Leon Trotsky the right of j asylum. Recently a pressing peti-, tion was made for authorisation for; him to come here. j [M. Trotsky left Russia for Norway some months ago, when he and his supporters were accused of complicity in the anti-Soviet plot, for which several Russians were sentenced to death His permit to remain in Norway will expire on December 18, and it was an- j nounced that it would not be renewed. According to a cable message on November 26. M. Trotsky sent urgent messages to friends abroad, asking them to do their utmost to obtain permission for him to go to another j European country.]
