SUDDEN DEATH OF MATRON
NURSED IN CHRISTCHURCH SEVERAL YEARS AGO . « " “ (TRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) NELSON, November 30. Miss Eileen Louie Ellis, aged 39, matron of the special school for girls, Richmond, died suddenly from heart failure at 6.15 on Saturday evening. Miss Ellis had nursed at Hamilton, Whangarci, and the Cashmere Sanatorium. She was in England for several years before taking up the position at Richmond.
