Good yachting weather, with a fresh north-easterly breeze, prevailed at Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon, when the Canterbury Yacht and Motor-Boat Club held races for five classes. X Class, started at 2.25 p.m.—Colleen (W. Tissiman), scr, 4.21.20, 1; Mahihi IN. Merrifleld), 3min, 4.25.25, 2; Avenger (R. Priddy), scr, 4.22.52, 3. Six started. I Class, started at 2.30 p.m.—Lolita (J. Evans), 4min 3.49.4, 1; AJona (H. Wells), 4imin, 3.50,55, 2; Muratai (N. Payne), 2min, 3.50.56, 3. There were 12 starters in this race.
