CRUELTY TO RABBITS
TO THB KDITOB OF TH* PBBBB. Sir,— May I add my voice to that of “Come Clean,” whose letter appears in “The Press” to-day? It is a ghastly thought that in these days of science | and humanity such a method for destroying rabbits should be even contemplated. It is bad enough that these and other animals should suffer as they do in the hands of the vivisectionist, but that they should be subject to a week’s torture in the hope of exterminating them is outrageous. I trust a very strong protest may be lodged against the idea, and that it may have the support of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Humanitarian Society.— Yours, etc., FAIR FIGHT. November 12, 1936.
