Flight Lieutenant T. Rose’s Double Eagle aeroplane, which crashed when competing in the South Africa air race, is undergoing repairs in Cairo, and later it will be flown to Cape Town. Flight Lieutenant Rose, with his engineer, Mr Jack Bagshaw, will attempt to lower Mrs Amy Mollison’s record of 4 days 18 hours 17 minutes for thp South Africa to England flight.
