FILM PRODUCER’S ESTATE
NORMA SHEARER’S HUSBAND LEAVES 10,000,000 DOLLARS (Received October 4, 9.30 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, October 3. The will of Mr Irving Thalberg, production director and producer for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer company, who died, on September 14, has been filed for probate. The will discloses that he left estate unofficially estimated at 10,000,000 dollars. With the exception of cash bequests to relatives, he leaves the whole of his estate to his widow, Norma Shearer.
