JfORKEKS’ HOURS REDUCED (PRESS ABBOCXATIOH TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, October 3. A complete agreement was reached to-day in the printing and related „ trades dispute. Details of the proposed sward will be put in their final form In the next few days. Workers on a 44-hour week will be reduced to 42 hours over a five-day week in the case of commercial printing offices, and a six-day week m the case of newspaper offices. Linotype workers on a 42-hour week will be reduced to 41. All the above will be called upon to work 40 hours a week at the ordinary rates, and when fiiia is exhausted the 42-hour and 41hour week will be established. All . hours above the reduced hours will -be overtime. The reduced hours do not apply to towns with a population ‘ of less than 6000.
