KING RETURNS TO LONDON

* . HOLIDAY AT BALMORAL ENDED LONDON, October 1, King Edward returned to London to-day from his holiday at Balmoral, and drove to Buckingham Palace. The King was not recognised by the large crowd at Euston station, which gathered to welcome him, as he sat in the back of his car, the rear blinds of which were drawn. His Majesty had breakfast with Queen Mary at the Palace. Queen Mary left the Palace aft lunch to take up her permanent residence at Marlborough House, where her personal standard was hoisted. The King accompanied his mother to her new residence.
