REPORTED WISHES OF MOSSOLINI RE-ENTRY OF GERMANY TO THE LEAGUE LONDON, October 1. The Rome correspondent of the “Morning Post” states that Signor Mussolini favours a Mediterranean understanding between Britain and Italy, a five-power Locarno conference, a' world money stabilisation conference, the reform of the league and the re-entry to it of Germany. By contrast to his previous violent fulminations. Dr. V. Gayda in the “Giornale d’ltalia” urges real cooperation between Britain and Italy. He adds: “Any idea of contesting Britain’s freedom in the Mediterranean has never entered our minds.” ’
