YOUNG BOY SERIOUSLY HURT

A little child, Peter Fraser, aged three and'a half years, of 44 Golf Links road, Shirley, was seriously injured shortly before 1 o’clock yesterday. While playing with a small trolley he fell and the' trolley passed over his face, severely lacerating an ear. He was admitted to hospital. His condition last evening was reported to be serious.

SCHOOLBOY SUFFERS HEAD injuries

A pupil of the Christchurch Boys’ High School, named Higgins, of 21 Halton street, Papanui, suffered head injuries and concussion when the front forks of his bicycle-collapsed a short distance from the school in Straven road about 3.30 yesterday afternoon. He was admitted to hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory.

DEATH OF ELDERLY MAN COLLAPSED IN STREET

While waiting for a tram at the corner of Colombo and Armagh streets about 1110 last evening Frederick George Cbiids, of 932 Colombo street, aged 76, collapsed and died within a few minutes. -An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital, but died before reaching, there.
