REGULATIONS- GAZETTED (PRESS ASSOCIATION rBJLEOBAII.) WELLINGTON, October 1. The Fresh Water Fisheries Regulations, 1936, giving effect to the Fisheries Amendment Act, 1936, were published to-night. They make provision for the issue of licenses, and define the places where acclimatised fish shall be taken, one clause dealing with license fees being to the effect that there shall be-paid by every* acclimatisation society - into the Consolidated Fund a proportion of one-tenth of the aggregate fees chargeable for licenses issued by such society in respect of any period commencing after the passing of the Fisheries Amendment Act, 1936, The regulations also cover the liabilities of persbns fishing; unlawful possession of and dealing in freshwater fish; pollution of waters; and the penalties for breaches of the regulations, appendfed to which is a schedule of ,the licenses.and the fees to.be charged throughout the Dominion:
